Description & Requirements

The Senior Meeting & Event Planner is part of the firm's Meetings, Events, and Travel team and is responsible for coordinating meetings and training events of varying size and scale for the firm, in addition to supporting the firm's travel program. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years within a corporate meeting and event role is a team player, is detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. This role collaborates with leaders across the firm to provide best-in-class meetings and events.How you will contribute:Collaborate with event owners to understand the objectives and requirements of each eventDevelop and manage meeting budgets, including invoice reconciliation and budget trackingSource and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providersBuild and maintain event registration and conference websites, communications, and conference apps, in partnership with the Event Technologist on the teamPlan all logistical aspects of meetings and events including but not limited to setup requirements, production, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, food and beverage / BEO, entertainment, offsite events, evening activities, and registration components.Collaborate with other planners on the team on best practices, in some cases supporting each other in the planning and execution of the firm's larger programsCorporate Travel experience preferred, with expertise in vendor relationships and Concur system reporting, in addition to providing support through various tools including online resource center updates and timely responses to travel service desk emails.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external vendors, as well as other industry professionalsProvide onsite execution of meetings when necessary - travel required (approx 20%, ranging from overnight to up to a week at a time)We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

Cvent knowledge and experienceTravel industry knowledgeCertified Meeting Professional certification
