About The Job:We are seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Content Strategist to join our team and help shape our content initiatives, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen our brand presence online. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital marketing, and a flair for content creation tailored to the events and restaurant industry.

Job Responsibilities:

Content Strategy Development

Create and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand identity, goals, and target audience. Develop short- and long-term content plans for various platforms, including website, social media, email campaigns, blogs, and more.Conduct audience research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of potential clients (event hosts, wedding planners, corporate clients, diners) and create content that resonates with them.Develop a content calendar that includes regular updates, promotions, special event announcements, blog posts, social media campaigns, and email newsletters.Content Creation & Oversight

Write and edit high-quality content for blogs, web pages, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, and event-related materials (e.g., invitations, menus, promotional flyers).Collaborate with the design team to ensure all content is visually appealing and consistent with brand guidelines.Create SEO-optimized content to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website. Research and implement best practices in SEO to increase visibility.Ensure the tone, voice, and style of all content remains consistent across channels and aligns with our brand messaging.Cross-Department Collaboration

Work closely with event planners, chefs, and the marketing team to gather content ideas and incorporate key information about upcoming events, new restaurant offerings, and customer testimonials.Collaborate with the social media manager to align content efforts with online campaigns, influencer partnerships, and community engagement.Analytics & Performance Tracking

Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email open rates. Use data to refine content strategy and improve engagement.Provide regular reports to leadership on content performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.Brand Voice & Positioning

Maintain and enhance brand positioning across all content by ensuring that each piece of content speaks to our company’s values, mission, and target audience.Create and optimize content around key events (e.g., seasonal promotions, new menu launches, special events) to maximize engagement and conversions

Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a Content Strategist, Copywriter, or similar role in the restaurant, hospitality, or events industry.Strong understanding of SEO best practices, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and digital marketing strategies.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience writing for both B2B and B2C audiences is a plus.Creative thinker with the ability to adapt content for different formats, from blog articles to social media posts, event descriptions, and email campaigns.Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter) and the ability to create content that drives engagement.Experience with content management tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar.Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required.Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics to track content performance and optimize for better results.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the events or hospitality industry, particularly in event hosting, restaurant marketing, or food and beverage promotion.Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.Experience working with remote teams and an ability to collaborate across time zones.What We Offer
