The Associate Process Designer provides design support of the Process Systems to produce construction documents for the following systems:high purity gases and chemicals, upstream and downstream biologics processing, small molecule synthesis, fill/finish, high purity water, waste treatment, and clean and support utilities, controls, and the like.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities Assists in developing Process Systems construction documents using architectural background layouts and system performance requirements defined by the project team including the architect, engineer and project manager
Assists in pre-design project activities, such as site assessment, site plan review, and verification of as built conditions
Assists project team to find optimum system sizing, routing, materials, and space management for ductwork and piping systems
Assists senior staff with services during construction, including responding to RFIs, shop drawing and submittal review, and as-built drawings
Coordinates with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering/ internal and external)
Assists in developing projects in compliance with engineering codes, standards, principles, relevant specifications and contractual requirements
Assists in the production of construction documents under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and coordinate with other disciplines
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
Mentor interns and junior members of project teams
Assists in the development of construction drawings, details, schedules and diagrams for process systems
Assists in performing quality control reviews of work developed by others

High School Diploma or GED required
Associates degree with technical focus preferred
0+ years of experience
Autodesk Building Systems Software
Good time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details
Proficient in the use of Autodesk Building Systems Software
Individual must possess strong communication and organizational skills
Strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships
Energetic and self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Technology experience preferred
Experience working within a team environment
Experience in the quality control review process
Experience contributing to continuous improvement processes
