Position Description
PingWind, Inc. is seeking a VTC Support Engineer to provide Audio Visual Support Services to the Headquarters - Army Contracting Command (HQ-ACC) located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Al. HQ-ACC provides contracting policy oversight to 100 different contracting offices and subordinate commands located worldwide. The ACC enterprise consists of over 6,200 military and civilian contracting professionals located at contracting offices across the contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). The VTC Support Engineer will support virtual meetings for ACC's global contracting mission to the warfighters through the full spectrum of military operations.
HQ-ACC has 17+ VTC offices and rooms with the capability of connecting and broadcasting to multiple locations worldwide simultaneously. The audio/visual support requirements average 25 virtual meetings weekly conducted via Microsoft Teams, NIPR Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and SIPR VTC and approximately 10 live events each year.
Preference in hiring will be afforded to applicants with current or prior experience providing VTC support services to the HQ-ACC or Army Materiel Command.
Primary Responsibilities
•Provide user assistance to ACC A/V systems and applications and escalate as needed in accordance with government established escalation procedures.
•Monitor A/V sessions, hardware (HW), software (SW), and the interconnectivity to ensure all are working properly and take measures to avoid or resolve network issues as they arise.
•Set up and maintain A/V equipment in Government conference rooms, labs, auditoriums, and decision centers, and other locations; and maintain, operate, and schedule multi-point communications, and multiple network link encryptors where installed.
•Provide incident management for all A/V systems using the Government-provided service desk system as needed, for the tracking and resolution of IT events.
•Provide hands-on (touch labor) set up and troubleshooting of all A/V sessions.
Other Duties
•Maintain highly secure and available systems by adhering to cybersecurity regulations and security policies and industry best practices.
•Coordinate with various organizations, such as, the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Regional Cyber Command (RCC), the Regional Network Enterprise Center Central Redstone (RNECC-R), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Department of the Army (DA), Department of Defense (DoD), and others as designated by the Government.
•Manage and coordinate the scheduling and usage of all Audio Visual (A/V)-enabled meeting rooms located in HQ-ACC.
•Manage and coordinate the scheduling of A/V events, as requested by ACC customers.
•Coordinate with customers and set up teleconference, web conferences, and other A/V conference requests.
•The contractor shall receive and respond to customer issues in a variety of ways (E-mail, telephonically, service ticket, word-of-mouth, face-to-face). Provide priority support for HQ-ACC key positions, which include, Commanding General, Deputy to the Command General, Command Sergeants, Major, Chiefs of Staff and G3.
•Under general supervision, prepares and/or maintains A/V tools documentation, including user manual.
Qualifications
•Active Secret security clearance
•Proficiency in providing support for Cisco MX800, Cisco SX80, Cisco MX700, and Cisco SX10 equipment. Cisco Room Bar, Room Bar Pro: Configuration and Operation; Mobile Audio Visual Equipment and Wireless AV equipment to include wireless microphone configuration/operation; familiarity with OWL Labs Video Conferencing equipment.
•Experience supporting VTC operating on classified networks
•Experience operating collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
