Position Summary
Mavely is seeking a seasoned Director of Creator Paid Media who will be instrumental in scaling our creators' most impactful organic content through strategic paid advertising initiatives. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of paid media strategies aimed at amplifying the reach and effectiveness of our creators' top-performing posts on behalf of Mavely and our brand partners.. You will leverage your expertise in social media advertising platforms—including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest—to boost content visibility and engagement. Through analytics and experience you will identify content with the highest potential for paid promotion, interpret performance data effectively, and ensure that each campaign is optimized for maximum return on investment and aligns with the specific goals of Mavely and our brand partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development: Create, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across primary social media ad platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Content Amplification: Identify high-performing organic posts and strategize on boosting them through paid advertising.
- Brand Collaboration: Work closely with brand partners to understand their goals and tailor paid media strategies to meet their objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Allocate and manage advertising budgets efficiently across various campaigns to maximize results.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, platform updates, and best practices in paid social media advertising.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance for internal teams and brand partners, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, sales, product and creator success teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment.
- Innovation: Explore new advertising opportunities and platforms to expand our paid media offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in paid media management, with 5 years within the social media advertising space.
- Proficiency with social media ad platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads).
- Strong ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
