Florida News Line is hiring: Community Newspaper Editor in Havana

A growing newspaper group in Havana, Florida is seeking a talented and experienced Editor to oversee the content of several weekly newspapers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for journalism, a strong understanding of local news, and excellent writing and editing skills. Responsibilities: Assign, write, edit, and proofread news articles, features, and columns Manage editorial calendars and deadlines Oversee the production of newspapers from start to finish Collaborate with reporters, photographers, and designers Build and maintain relationships with community members and local businesses Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in journalism, preferably in a newsroom setting Strong knowledge of AP style and grammar Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with newspaper production software (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus Able to commute or relocate to Havana, Fla.
