Schedule: Full Time Shift : Monday Friday Location: Remote The role youll contribute: The Supply Chain Procurement Expeditor will follow up with Suppliers on outstanding purchase orders and communicate the status to buyers. This position receives order status information and inputs to the ERP system to ensure that the information is current and accurate. Coordinates and monitors projects and assignments with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail. The value youll bring to the team: Contacts Suppliers to obtain current order delivery information Assists with reconciling backorders and investigates shipping discrepancies on a weekly basis Manage order status through utilizing independent decision making skills and persistence to manage workload prioritization in concert with Procurement Agents, Collaborates and communicates effectively with inventory, warehouse, and department staff as needed Suggests process improvements for resolution of shortage/backorder issues and provides pro-active support to Procurement team to help resolve order discrepancies and billing/invoice related issues Recommends potential product alternatives, upon request, to respective facility departments (with Procurement Agent and Supplier input) for discontinued or backordered items Provides research and other support with various Procurement projects, related to Supply Chain Shared Services related activities, as assigned by the Procurement Manager
