The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and a compelling storyteller with a proven track record in leading product marketing teams and devising go-to-market strategies that drive growth. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise B2B marketing, particularly in the software as a service (SaaS) space, and a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The VP will be responsible for crafting a strategic narrative that aligns with the organization's mission and vision, leading product launches, and providing market insights to inform product development and pricing strategy. Additionally, the role involves building strong partnerships with sales leaders to ensure effective sales enablement and driving demand generation through integrated marketing and sales campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on B2B (SaaS preferred), and a strong background in managing a portfolio of products across multiple industries. A key aspect of the role is the ability to use data to problem-solve and think strategically, as well as a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. The VP should be a strong people manager, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in second-line leadership, and possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. A background in SaaS product marketing and an understanding of the impact of customer experience on strategic initiatives are essential.
