Your Responsibilities on the TeamYou have in-depth knowledge of the creative process, have excellent design skills, and consistently deliver high-quality design.You have experience building beautiful direct to consumer web. mobile web and/or native app experiences.Experience in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as Sketch.Must have digital production skills creating digital assets in a fast-paced environmentYou’re an advocate for the user experience but can balance and understand data, business needs and goals.Able to prototype and present beautiful work quickly.Contribute to a strong design culture rooted in championing design principles, openness, trust and collaboration.Advocate for the integrity of the UX process, by establishing digital design brand standards that are informed by strategy, user research and integrated between customer touchpoints and product experiences.Collaborate with engineers to create components and establish a design library.Work closely with product managers, designers and developers to create engaging and functional user-friendly products.Craft novel moments of storytelling and delight for our web presence.Present work and build alignment around design direction and execution with key stakeholders.
Requirements2+ years of design experience on an in-house design team and/or at a design agencyBFA/MFA in design or a related disciplineDirect to consumer experience in an e-commerce environmentExperience/interest in web, mobile web and native app designStrong organizational skills and eye for detailAdvanced skills in Figma, Notion, and Adobe Creative SuiteHigh levels of creativity and innovation with a working knowledge of the latest design patterns and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeep understanding of how qualitative and quantitative research inform product and design decisionsStrong visual and typographic sensibility
Physical RequirementsThis is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the UX/UI Designer to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
