office. A hybrid work schedule may be available at the Company's discretion. The position will be responsible for working with technical leads and marketing teams. Develop compliant, comprehensive, and compelling submittals (proposals and opportunity-specific request for proposals/quotations (RFP/RFQ) on a corporate level in order to win profitable work. Responsible for managing, scheduling, editing, and producing federal proposals, SF330 proposals, opportunity-related SOQs, project descriptions, resumes, and other marketing materials.Geosyntec is an innovative, international engineering and consulting firm serving private, public-sector, and federal clients to address new ventures and complex problems involving our environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure. Proposals and SF330s:Coordinate all aspects of the competitive proposal preparation - from initial planning through delivery including compliance matrices;
Evaluate SWOT (strength, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) to support go/no go decisions, involving senior personnel;Select and recommend appropriate projects and personnel to be included in submittal based on client requirements, selection criteria, and themes;Review and hone messages/win themes within written and visual information for client presentations;Draft content such as introduction, win themes, proof statements, relevant experience, project teams/organizational charts;Apply federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines related to procurement activities including modifications to and completion of standardized forms (including SF330);Assess and ensure compliance with client requirements and selection criteria; obtain required forms, comments, and approvals related to the submittal from Corporate Legal/Contracts Department;In partnership with marketing managers/teams and subject matter experts, develop qualification, proposal, and presentation messaging and content;Overall responsibility for RFP/RFQ (mostly SF330) criteria and compliance, oversee production, and arrange for on-time deliveries;Develop scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and be responsible for distribution & receiving input from key technical leads and decision makers;Work closely w/ Branch technical and marketing teams to develop plans that align with the company's Strategic Plan (i.e., overall goals and objectives);Track business development opportunities (currently GovTribe) for federal pursuits; andSupport corporate registrations in SAM, representation and certifications, GSA contract, and federal reporting requirements.Marketing ManagementSupport federal presentations for internal meetings to include data on historical and current federal projects;Oversee staff in managing routine marketing collateral (e.g., keeping key task schedules on-track, and resumes and project descriptions up to date);Create/approve news announcements for internal and external postings;Support award requirements and ensure compliance with award requirements; andAnalyze research data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; present findings to leadership.Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of related experience; or an Associates with 8 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. (required)Advanced computer literacy using MS applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Desktop Publishing Software (Adobe Suite). (required)Experience with SF330. (preferred)Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions. (required)Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
