We are seeking a committed digital marketer who will be accountable for devising, executing, and improving Organic and Paid Search for the Genetics Science Division (GSD). This position values both educational qualifications (such as GSD) and equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on and enterprise-level expertise in Search and a firm grasp of other digital channels like Programmatic Display, Email or Social Media. To be successful in this position, you are proactive, analytical and constantly looking for new opportunities to improve performance and efficiency, driving automation and solutions at scale.
What you will do:
Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, measure and optimize SEO and SEM initiatives that are aligned with business goals
Serve as the SME for Search across the division, working with teams to grow and optimize search presence on the SERP
Track and report critical search metrics
Lead multiple, simultaneous projects, prioritizing based on performance impact and team focus areas
Supply strategic roadmap initiatives to modernize our Search capabilities including continuous process improvements and test-and-learn pilots
Test, evaluate and implement new strategies and technologies, as well as influence the wider corporate marketing organization to adopt and deploy emerging digital marketing tactics and technologies
Leverage AI and automation capabilities to drive efficiencies within the Search program
Align with regional digital partners to understand regional needs and bring the global strategy to life
Lead insightful sessions on the Search channel (e.g. standard methodologies, strategy, industry updates, etc.)
Participate in scrum ceremonies and follow agile principles, using project management software

Experience:
3+ years of validated experience in Search channels, B2C or B2B digital marketing, advertising or eCommerce
Sophisticated understanding of SEM using Google Ads, Bing Ads or other paid search engines, on-page SEO and search engine ranking factors
Knowledge of technical SEO/SEM
Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console or Screaming Frog
Hands-on experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio)
Experience with multiple strategic clients including ownership and oversight of large budgets
Experience with keyword research tools (e.g. Moz, SEMRush) preferred
Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. WorkFront, Jira, Wrike) preferred
Experience in working with Web Production, Digital Marketing Managers, and Web Content teams to implement on-page optimizations preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$115,000.00.
