We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of one of our assets located in Hampton, VA. The Property Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, maintaining positive relationships with residents, and efficiently managing administrative tasks.
What you will be doing
- Manage all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and managing security deposit returns
- Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, work orders, and other relevant documentation
- Oversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processing
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptly
- Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment
- Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents
What you will bring along
- 3-5 years of experience as Property Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ARM or CAM Certified preferred
- Strong knowledge of real estate, administrative procedures and practices
- Excellent conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between residents or with external parties
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and eviction procedures
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills to provide excellent service to residents
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using property management software OneSite
- Knowledge in Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe
