Akkodis is hiring: Audio Visual Technician in Erie

Akkodis is partnering with a Fortune 500 company in Erie, PA, recruiting qualified candidates for an A/V Technician.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with a large Insurance Organization in Erie, PA.

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Prioritize work from a ticketing system (ServiceNow)
• Setup, maintenance, relocation, and recovery of A/V equipment in conference rooms and shared spaces.
• A/V setup and recovery for auditorium and share space functions or presentations.
• Setup and maintenance of required laptops and peripherals to ensure usability and functionality for users
• Responsible for but not limited to the following items; TV’s, projectors/screens, monitors, overhead speakers, freestanding speakers, audio processors and amplifiers, telepresence equipment, microphones, HD cameras, room sensors
• Assist with planning efforts of assigned projects

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, CIS or related field preferred; Experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered
• Prior experience in a related field preferred
• Strong customer service focus and exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• Process oriented and goal driven
• Must have the ability to work onsite in Erie, PA
