Job Summary: As an Audio Visual Technician (On-Call) in Chicago, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus Proven experience as an audio visual technician or similar role Proficiency in operating audio and visual equipment, such as microphones, projectors, and sound systems Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues quickly and effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Responsibilities: Set up and test audio and visual equipment before events Operate equipment during events to ensure quality audio and visual output Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during events Work closely with event organizers to understand their audio visual needs Provide technical support and guidance to event attendees as needed Maintain and store audio visual equipment properly after each event Stay up to date on the latest audio visual technology and trends in the industry Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working with audio visual equipment J-18808-Ljbffr
