Overview:

The Audio/Video Production Dept. (EIT) is seeking a work study worker for their AVP Program located on the 4th floor of the ATLC Center. This program provides curriculum for students to learn the field of Audio and Video Production. The Work Study position provides assistance, and support, in the form of an on campus hourly position. The Work study individual will assist the AVP Coordinator and Faculty by attending the AVP Equipment Checkout Office located on the 4th floor of the ATLC Building.

Location: Clifton campus

Duties:
  • Assist faculty and staff in providing support for equipment check in and check out.
  • Support for both Audio and Video studios when required. Specific training will be provided by the AVP Coordinator.
  • Clean and check all gear checked out upon return to insure that equipment is returned in the same condition as it was when checked out.
  • Insure that all items are returned, and kits are returned to their appropriate cage or shelf in the studios and are ready for check out.
  • Keep track of all checkout cards, paperwork, and any notes required for each individual check out.
  • Maintain cleanly work area and a suitable learning environment for higher learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • The hiring of student workers by Cincinnati State is premised on eligibility guidelines for federal work study employment: eligible applicants must be high school graduates or have attained a GED. Additionally, eligible applicants for work study positions at Cincinnati State must be at least 16 years of age on or before the date of hire.
Eligible students must:
  • Have completed a FAFSA for the current school year.
  • Meet and continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
  • Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Be an active student at Cincinnati State.

Hourly Pay: $14.00 per hour

Work Hours: Part-Time, no more than 20 hours per week Students may not work during their scheduled class times.
