Description
S2i2 is currently seeking an experienced Senior Communications Administrator Lead to oversee and manage our organization's communication infrastructure. This leadership role involves planning, deploying, and maintaining advanced communication systems to ensure seamless connectivity across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to implement and manage communication strategies that align with business objectives
Responsibilities:
• Provide Communications Services design, upgrade, and engineering to meet United States Mint strategies and requirements.
• Provide fraud prevention, detection, and reporting.
• Track, manage and maintain United States Mint equipment and circuits for all United States Mint facilities.
• Coordinate with communications services providers.
• Coordinate with the United States Mint for communications Infrastructure.
• Coordinate Service delivery with Service Desks, as well as other support groups within each of the other Service Areas, in coordination with Customers.
• Provide VIP Support Services as necessary.
• Manage and monitor connectivity among all Communications Services locations.
• Maintain the communications service lines and circuits to meet the SLA availability targets.
• Serve as a single-point-of-contact for all Communications Service needs.
• Coordinate with inter-exchange carriers to provide Connectivity.
• Identify possible product and enhancement opportunities for improved performance and potential cost savings.
• Manage SLAs and coordinate daily operation with third-party voice Contractors (including LECs, carriers, and hardware.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
• 15 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or relevant field.
• Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS)
• Experience and training in designing, configuring, and deploying communications services hardware and software, including but not limited to, Avaya phone system, AT&T toll free network, and cable management.
• Operations and administration of communication system.
