Client Communication Manager
Our firm is currently seeking a Client Communication Manager to join its growing and talented marketing department. The candidate must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, as well as detail-oriented, flexible, and organized. It is critical that this team member also possesses strong time-management skills and is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years of marketing and communication experience, and familiarity with K-12 clients and/or referendum campaigns. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Director of Marketing and Communications and senior leadership to maintain, develop, and implement client-focused communication and initiatives.
- Act as a communication liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Provide direction to marketing designers as it relates to communication campaign strategy.
- Support, and at times participate in, client introduction meetings and interviews when client communications and/or referendum support are critical to architectural selection process.
- Manage client communication and referendum campaigns including develop and maintain detailed communication schedules; lead client meetings; create content for various mediums; develop social media plans; write press releases; and coordinate with specialists and designers to develop materials.
- Assist with the development of materials needed to support focus group and committee efforts such as agendas, summaries, worksheets, boards, presentations, etc.
- Review and edit monthly project progress reports developed by the marketing team on behalf of clients.
- Respond to and coordinate client requests related to communication support.
- Lead coordination of, and attend, client events such as groundbreakings, open houses, ribbon cuttings, etc.
- Assist with the development, distribution, and analysis of client surveys.
- Ensure all materials support the firm’s strategic goals and brand identity and take into account intended use and audience.
- Manage marketing activity reports related to referendum campaigns and results.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing job-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall have:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or related field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of marketing and communications experience.
- Proven experience managing and leading teams.
- Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong editing, proofing, and document organization skills.
- A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Microsoft O365.
- Ability to prioritize job responsibilities, work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Highly productive work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-oriented, collaborative, resourceful, and positive can-do attitude.
Preference will be given to those with experience working in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry, marketing experience for professional services, and knowledge of K-12 market and referendum campaigns.
