Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and clients.

Responsibilities

Shipping Coordination:

• Coordinate staff to ensure packages are created in an accurate and timely manor.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
• Continuously assess the shipping process to identify areas for improvement in cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with shop management, suppliers, and shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips, shipping labels and scan sheets.
• Track and order inventory to ensure stock counts are accurate and shipping supplies are available.
• File claims with shipping carriers for lost or damages packages.
• Organize and schedule the shipment pick up with our shipping carrier.
• Organize delivery of daily package drop off at our local shipping carrier.

Requirements:

• Qualifications
• Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
• Experience in client services or sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.
• Previous office experience is advantageous, particularly in a shipping or logistics environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $19.00 per, hour Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
