ONEIL LANGAN ARCHITECTS is on the lookout for a passionate Community Manager to join our team and help us foster a vibrant and engaged community around our architectural projects. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and local communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in architecture and design. Your primary focus will be to promote our projects, gather feedback, and ensure that community voices are heard and incorporated into our designs. As the Community Manager, you will also organize events, workshops, and outreach initiatives aimed at educating the public about our work and increasing community involvement. You will play a critical role in enhancing our firm's visibility and rapport within the community, amplifying our presence, and ultimately contributing to a wide-reaching impact on the neighborhoods we serve.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies that align with our architectural projects.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback.
  • Organize events, workshops, and presentations to engage the public and showcase our work.
  • Gather community input and convey insights to the project teams for incorporation into design processes.
  • Create and manage content for social media and other communication platforms to promote our initiatives.
  • Monitor community affairs and gather information regarding local issues that may affect our projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Community Development, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in community management, public relations, or similar roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage various audiences.
  • Knowledge of architectural design principles and an enthusiasm for the built environment.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and community engagement software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
