Shop the property's competition on a regular basis.Assume responsibility for the operations of the property, including reporting systems, in the absence of the Community Manager.Daily post all rents, deposits, and application fees received from residents.Greet, qualify, tour, and lease apartments to prospective residents.EXCELAn Assistant Community Manager is Proficient In: Customer Service - Managing difficult or emotional customer situations; Responding promptly to customer needs; Responding to requests for service and assistance.Teamwork - Giving and welcoming feedback; Contributing to building a positive team spirit; Putting success of team above own interests.Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.Professionalism - Tactfully approaches others; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.RequirementsLicenses and Certifications Required of an Assistant Community Manager:Blue Ridge Companies requires you to have a valid driver's license to drive the golf cart.Experience:Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and other certifications/licenses as required by local jurisdictions.Your new career starts here.
