Position Overview
Ravenel Associates Inc. is searching for an Onsite Community Manager to manage a premier community in the Charleston area. As the onsite Community Manager, you will handle daily operations and build relationships with your board of directors to work to provide them with the guidance and management oversight necessary for their association. An Onsite Community Association Manager should have advanced interpersonal, communication, and time management skills and be able to manage all aspects of a community association. Though a direct employee of Ravenel Associates, the Onsite Community Manager will work directly under the supervision and direction of the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, operational, and managerial advice to Board of Directors
- Maintain communication with Board of Directors, Architectural Review Board, and homeowners
- Schedule, prepare, and attend regular Board and Architectural Review meetings
- Prepare and present the annual budget to the board of directors
- Analyze monthly financial reports, oversee, and approve payment of services provided to community
- Create monthly management reports for Board of Directors review
- Contact, coordinate, and supervise vendors for community maintenance, contracts and projects
- Complete daily administrative tasks including architectural request processing, Pool and Gate pass distribution, invoice review, document retention, etc.
- Complete weekly common area and compliance inspections for the community
- Be knowledgeable about Community Governing Documents, Policies and Procedures, and ARB Guidelines
- Maintain all community files, website, and dropbox
- Maintain positive professional relationships with Board of Directors, homeowners, and vendors

Requirements:
- 3+ years of Community Association experience
- CMCA or AMS preferred
- Outgoing personality and ability to lead
- Great time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
