As a team of veteran technologists from Twitter, Tesla, Periscope, and more, we are developing a next-generation news platform to reimagine your daily intake of news. We value active engagement in discussions and encourage contribution to the product development process.We are seeking a Community and Editorial Lead to manage and lead our community efforts, including directly interacting with our members via Discord and other social media platforms. To some of our community members, you will be the face of Particle. Although this isn’t primarily a formal communications role, you will likely interact with the press on a regular basis. You will also be responsible for some editorial decisions and/or AI prompt engineering improvements within Particle’s app and services. You will report directly to the Particle CEO.Required qualifications:Outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills. Able to communicate in a way that resonates with the evolving Particle community.Strong understanding and experience with all major social media platforms.Previous experience with community management.Stays cool under public pressure (people on the Internet can be a lot!)Nice to have:Previous experience in marketing, communications, PR, or a related field.Previous experience in news or journalism.Experience with LLMs and LLM outputs.Experience running user surveys, and ability to analyze data insights and present reports.Particle is funded and offering a competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.
