The Digital Marketing team at H.W. Kaufman Group is seeking an individual who excels in creating high-quality content that engages target audiences, enhances brand awareness, and drives traffic to owned sources (email, web, social).
This position will report to the Director, Content Marketing, and will play a key role in ensuring content is consistent across all channels, aligns with overall marketing goals, and matches each unique brand’s messaging and tone.
To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to be passionate about storytelling and communicating both a personalized and engaging message to clients—inciting action. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as an interest in developing basic graphic and video editing skills for the visual representation of content.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, engaging and personalized content including articles, blog posts, email content, social media posts, exposure scenarios, reports, newsletters, videos, etc.
- Work closely with Director, Content Marketing to align content with business and marketing campaign goals
- Develop relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content supports overall business objectives and strategies
- Ensure all content is consistent and within brand voice, style and tone
- Analyze, create, and modify content, templates, guidelines and processes to increase efficiency and quality of work
- Assist in tracking and reporting on content campaign performance
- Conduct market and competitor research to understand competitors and target audiences; identifying content opportunities
- Stay abreast of content and client trends, including advancements in technology to best communicate with clientele
- Assist Senior Manager, Digital Marketing in bringing content and campaigns to life through creative visuals across email, web and social that adhere to marketing strategies and brand guidelines
- As needed, work alongside appropriate Managers/Directors to distribute content effectively and broadly—this includes building emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, uploading website content, and posting social media content (full training provided)
- As needed, extract data from multiple marketing systems to support further analysis and planning
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Entry or 1 year of experience on a marketing team
- Creative thinking with a passion for storytelling and content creation
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including editing and proofing
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities based on organizational needs
- Ability to share concepts and brainstorm
- Ability to receive and respond to constructive criticism
Preferred Qualifications:
- B2B experience
- Canva, Premier Pro, Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
- WordPress experience
- LinkedIn Business management experience
