Position Overview:
This position is ideal for students looking to gain experience in sports marketing and content creation. This role will work in coordination with El Paso Locomotive FC's Marketing and Communications Department to assist in all aspects of creating photo content. This is a paid internship. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements include but are not limited to:
•Produce, shoot, and edit photo content for El Paso Locomotive FC and El Paso Locomotive FC Youth Programs.
•Assists with graphic creation and other digital marketing content for use on the team website and social media platforms.
•Capture events, interviews, and game footage for editing.
•Actively participate in the creative development process.
•Assist with photo requests and administrative duties.
•Archives photos throughout the season.
•Assist in the creation of video, written, and graphic content for use on digital and social platforms.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
•Candidate must qualify to be an intern which means either a current college student and or a recent college graduate. This is a learning experience and not a part-time job.
•Candidates need to have experience with Sony cinema cameras.
•Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
•Knowledge of Adobe After Effects preferred.
•Ability to work as a team under tight deadlines.
•Must be available to work all El Paso Locomotive FC home games as well as nights and weekends.
•Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, but not required.
•Work often includes long hours of prolonged standing, as well as exposure to weather during games.
This position pays $750 a month to cover your expenses and then $10 per hour for all games you may be scheduled to work.
