Position Overview:
The Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies as articulated by the Director of Sales that enhance the visibility, engagement, and brand voice of FC Tucson, FC Tucson Women, the FC Tucson Academy, and any associated events in the digital space. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including content calendar management, social media content creation, website coordination with our Graphic Designer, brand consistency, analytics, on-site content capture, email campaigns, public relations, longer-form writing, cross-functional collaboration, and staying updated with social media trends.

As Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator, your primary duties shall be as follows:
- Digital Content: Assist in the development and execution of FC Tucson's digital content strategy and visual brand to grow and engage a passionate fan base and drive business growth.
- Branding: Serve as an on-site club brand ambassador and work with others to safeguard brand standards including logos, typography, quality, content, and turnaround.
- Social Media: Assist the Director of Sales in maintaining a comprehensive content calendar (including posts) across the full suite of FC Tucson social channels, identify opportunities and trends, oversee the development of any content series or podcast, and handle features within the social media space to produce successful and integrated campaigns.
- Photography & Videography: Script, capture, edit, and deliver creative photographs and videos for training sessions, matches, community events, partnership activations, league requirements and other club initiatives.
- Media: Assist in conducting player and staff interviews, assist in drafting of press releases and match reports and serve as liaison to local media for club access.
- Communications: Manage email campaigns end-to-end. Ensure content is approved, quality checked, graphics and imagery are integrated, and ensure the correct segmentation is implemented campaign to campaign.
- Operations: Coordinate with leadership on reporting of digital content KPI's and insights to measure campaign effectiveness, uncover actionable insights, and identify areas of opportunity.
- Operations: Work closely with all departments including Ticket Sales, Community Relations, Public Relations, Corporate Partnerships and Marketing to make sure all departmental and team objectives are met on social media.
- Operations: Assure adherence to budgets, launch schedules, and marketing campaign objectives.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Significant experience with management and curation of social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn).
- Minimum 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience working for a professional, pre-professional, collegiate or youth organization preferred but not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms required.
- Experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent programs a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Effective time management skills.
- Team oriented and self-motivated.
- Passion for soccer or sports.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required.
- Will NOT be required to travel.
- Must be able to take directions, execute actions, and work quickly and optimally under pressure.
- Must be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required during the Employment Term.
- Employment Term: January 2025-August 2025
- Employee Status: Part-Time and Non-Exempt
- Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Required Hours: 10-30 per week depending on the level of Club activity. Hours will be scheduled by the Club and tracked by the employee.
- Background Check: Hire will be required to submit to a background check.
- This position will be primarily working out of the FC Tucson Corporate Office and training facilities.
- This position must adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the company's policy manuals.
