Content and Design Team LeaderMalvern, PAHybrid - 3 days on-sitePosition OverviewThis role is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a mission-based team in an organization dedicated to increasing philanthropic giving through donor advised funds. As the Content and Design Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of content and design professionals, overseeing project completion and providing editorial, creative, and strategic guidance to align with marketing and growth goals.ResponsibilitiesBalance workload and adjust resourcesSet strategy for copy, design, and team processesCreate efficient, high-quality approaches for immediate goalsManage multiple projects, resolving complex issuesCollaborate with marketing manager, leaders, and creative teams to align business and marketing goals. Pitch innovative ideas and creatively tell the organization's storyContribute to marketing through content creation, editing, and managing various formats including websites, surveys, ads, and press releasesMaintain expert knowledge of financial and nonprofit industries, along with the organization's products and servicesStay updated on market research and competitive analysis, ensuring branding standards are upheld across channelsEnsure all deliverables align with brand standards, marketing goals, SEO/SEM targets, and regulatory requirementsLead quality initiatives, analyzing data for process improvements. Drive team skill enhancement through knowledge sharing, cross-training, and professional developmentProvide editorial guidance across mediums, collaborating with designers, developers, marketing, PR, regulatory teams, and leadershipMentor junior writers and designers, offering feedback on content, story development, and media formattingReport team performance to the Marketing Manager, identify areas for improvement, and track action plansFoster a culture of analysis, conceptual thinking, and qualityServe as editor for high-priority content and participate in special projectsQualifications Bachelor's degree in writing, literature, or equivalent experience5+ years in content development, editorial, and creative managementExperience mentoring writers, editors, and proofreaders, preferredProven ability to lead teams or manage peopleExpertise in creative processesExperience with multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaigns is a plusStrong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills for diverse audiencesSolid understanding of online communication best practicesAbility to simplify complex topics for any audienceExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanorExperience mentoring creative professionalsProficient in Microsoft Office; preferred experience with Pardot, Salesforce, CRMs, or CMSTech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adopt relevant toolsAbility to learn technical concepts swiftly and manage multiple high-quality projectsComfortable interacting across all organizational levelsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyCompensation Salary: $87,000 + potential for 10% bonus401k Retirement planMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceGenerous paid time offCareer Blazers Nonprofit Search maintains a broad focus so that your search can be thorough, and inclusive of all relevant options.
