Job Description:
General Summary:
MPS is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Creative Director with a strong creative vision, digital expertise, and a deep understanding of video production, motion graphics, and digital design. As a key member of the Corporate Marketing team, this individual will drive MPS’s marketing initiatives by crafting innovative brand and creative strategies that elevate traffic, engagement, and lead generation, ultimately supporting sales and customer retention. The Creative Director will champion a culture of creative excellence and collaboration, working closely with Global Marketing, Product, and Sales to ensure a seamless and cohesive brand presence across all channels and touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead brand and creative strategies for the MPS brand, balancing hands-on execution with strategic oversight.
- Translate marketing strategies into creative concepts, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Lead the creation of marketing campaigns across online and offline channels, contributing hands-on as needed.
- Mentor and manage a team of visual, video, and motion designers, providing both leadership and creative direction.
- Drive the creative brief process for campaigns and events, ensuring collaboration and high-quality output.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Incorporate design trends, technology, and customer insights into forward-thinking creative strategies.
- Demonstrate mastery of creative tools, methods, and presentation skills while leading by example.
- Build relationships with global business leaders to align creative solutions with their needs.
- Foster collaboration within the team and across departments to ensure cohesive and impactful brand execution.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be a self-starter who is able to seize opportunities with minimal direction.
- Must be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and good at relationship building.
- Must demonstrate flexibility with working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables and moving deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent professional experience; agency experience a plus.
- 10+ years' design experience in digital, advertising, art direction and design.
- A standout portfolio covering all digital formats: banners, search ads, articles, video, email, websites, landing pages and social media.
- Experience with UX, interaction design, motion design, technology, and usability.
- Strong thinker with the ability to use creative genius and passion for solving problems in an artful way.
- Demonstrated ability to produce engaging and high-cadence creative across different communication vehicles (web, social media, email, etc.).
- Stay current with the latest trends to inspire clients and teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytic skills.
- Active passion/student of design, creativity and digital technology.
