Position Summary: Seeking PM who's passionate about delivering creative, empowering and inclusive AI-first templates for small business and consumer customer experiences.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Work in partnership with the Principal Designer to develop a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of AI-responsive and generative templates for clients Designer
- Set high standards for innovative template design across a range of diverse styles, providing guidance and leadership that results in a cohesive, best-in-class body of work
- Push the boundaries on how art is represented and produced using new tools and processes
- Set clear objectives and key results for the team, ensuring team members are active and empowered participants in the design process
- Inspire the creative team to be passionate and ambitious in their work, creating a positive, inclusive culture that fuels the creative team's energy
- Develop style guidelines, mood boards, specs and best practices to document design planning and workflows
- Conduct creative reviews for design sprints, providing detailed feedback to ensure high quality design execution
- Working with a variety of emerging tools and technologies, overseeing technical builds to ensure all engineering requirements are met for successful ingestion to the content catalog
- Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that will elevate design quality and customer experience
- Demonstrate a detail-oriented, obsessive eye for creative execution and technical accuracy
- Drive delivery schedule
- Assist with curation of visual assets and fonts to inform new content acquisition
- Manage design and production pipelines, identifying tools and efficiencies to improve internal processes
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of professional visual design experience
- 8-10 years of experience in the role of an Art Director, Creative Lead, or similar position
- Proven experience in understanding technical skills and constraints, and the creativity to imagine new uses for them
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate ability to convey complex and abstract concepts
- Experience with Figma, Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent
Preferred:
- Portfolio demonstrating excellence in art direction, visual communication, creativity and compelling storytelling
- Proven creative industry experience leading a delivering a broad range of design projects
- Experience designing digital content for web experiences
- Experience planning and delivering work for a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable in the details, but able to step back and enable others
- Remains calm and confident in a fast paced, changing environment and thrives on juggling multiple projects at once
- Strong time management and organizational skills
