Email CreatorJob#:384962Location:EAU CLAIRE, WI - Corporate OfficeDepartment:E-CommerceCategory:General OfficeSalary:HourlyApply To This JobReturn To ListJob DescriptionWHY WORK FOR MENARDS?· Monday – Friday; no nights, weekends or Holidays!· Profit Sharing & 401k, paid vacations and holidays· Highly collaborative work environment· On Campus coffee shop/Cafeteria with live music!· Team Member discountPOSITION SUMMARY:The E-Commerce Email Creator is responsible for the creation and execution of Menards email programs and notifications – including creation of campaign emails, transactional emails, push notifications, SMS and text, web notifications, and immerging functions.Email and notification content on our platformsUse of data from analytics to create meaningful and effective email and notifications that inform and increase profitabilityDevelopment of media to be used in emailsPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Creation of Menards promotional emails, focused on simple and clear design according to strategy to increase interaction and profitabilityExecution of the E-Commerce email schedule steered to efficiencyDevelopment of targeted emails throughout platform based on available data sourcesCreation of excellent email designs tested and focused on increasing profitabilityMultivariate testing, reporting, and development from learning of the emails created, under direction of Lead Email CreatorUnderstand brand and retail strategiesOther tasks as assigned by the E-Commerce General Manager or Lead Email CreatorSkills/RequirementsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors or Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Management is required OR equivalent work experience.Ability to prioritize tasks, take direction, and execute with efficiency and keen organizational skillsAbility to work independently to meet strict deadlines is essentialStrong attention to detail and must be organized· Experience with PC required. MAC experience is a plus.Understanding of best practices related to search engine optimizationExperience with Adobe Suite, InDesign and Photoshop required, Illustrator and Dreamweaver is preferredExperience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenAnalytical problem-solving skillsMarketing experience is a plus· Must have strong work ethic and be able to take direction, be open-minded to change and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentRelocation to Eau Claire, WI is requiredApply To This Job
