19six is seeking a highly motivated Architectural Design Professional to support projects within our San Luis Obispo office's K-12 Education design studio.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Create, coordinate, revise, and maintain project design, production, and documentation at all project phases (Pre-Design through Construction Administration and Certification).
- Produce and comprehend architectural redlines and efficiently produce documents and revisions.
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project scope and budget.
- Coordinate design with consultants and architectural team.
- Ability to work collaboratively and clearly with architectural team, consultants, and clients.
- Handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's of Architecture required.
- Two or more (2+) years’ experience working on Education, preferably K-12 related projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Acrobat and MS Office software is required.
- Experience with DSA submission/approval process is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with desire and willingness for continual professional development.
- Detail oriented, highly motivated, positive attitude, and proactive problem solver.
- Passion for design and construction.
