This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can execute quickly and efficiently. As our first in-house designer, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a team of designers and creatives.What You’ll Do:Lead the design of all The Deep View's critical product areas and brandsDevelop the design vision and branding for each of our media properties, aligning them with our business strategyMaintain a high standard for customer experience, design quality, and team cohesionEstablish strong partnerships with Editorial, Engineering, and Content teams to create assets that follow brand guidelines and meet their needsCreate the Design team playbook from scratchContinuously improve our products through fast iterations on interactions, flows, and visual design, along with delivering new featuresCommunicate directly with customers to understand needs, share concepts, and turn feedback into actionWhat You’ve Done Before:3+ years of design experience, with deep experience working on B2B and B2C SaaS products and/or in mediaDemonstrated use of qualitative and quantitative data, leveraging subject matter experts to impact customer and business metricsPassion for leading and coaching an inspired teamA deep curiosity about emerging technologies and enthusiasm for artificial intelligenceExperience creating cohesive, beautiful brands from scratchIt’d Be Great If You’ve Done This:2+ years successfully building and managing design teams in a high growth environmentPassion for leading, coaching and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountabilityWorked in a startup environment where you own the entire design processCompensationThe annual salary range for the target level for this role is $75,000-$130,000 + benefitsBenefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for youFlexible PTOWFH/Wellness stipendCompensation Range: $75K - $130K#J-18808-Ljbffr
