Description

Inside sales representative that promotes Garden State Tile through the sale of products to trade professionals and end users that focus on the residential customer base which includes but is not limited to; tile contractors, kitchen/bath, residential home builders and remodelers, interior designers and homeowners. Responsible for sales growth and development of the residential customer base through the cultivation of new relationships. Responsible for the entire cycle of a transaction from placing the order to the delivery ensuring customer satisfaction and order accuracy. Responsible for providing effective, accurate and timely customer service for all internal and external customers as well as team members. Communicate effectively and assist team members as needed to achieve operational and company goals. When necessary assume any position as needed and/or directed to achieve company's daily output needs.

Requirements

  • Meet and greet every guest that visits our location and provide the highest level of concierge customer service.
  • Be obsessed with the quality, cleanliness and look of our showroom.
  • Refresh and curate the showroom merchandising and sampling monthly
  • Fully manage the sample library, sample labeling, and lending procedure.
  • Assist with showroom merchandising when new products come in and help keep the showroom displays looking updated and fresh.
  • Provide creative design and innovation ideas to each customer.
  • Keep current with trends and designs in the market.
  • Prove to be an effective team member by always helping fellow associates and considering every branch just as important a customer as the ones it the showroom.
  • Consistently work as a team to meet or exceed your personal sales goal, while also assisting all fellow GST sales associates (inside and outside) to meet or exceed their sales goal.
  • Be a contributor to achieve branch goals.
  • Immediately educate yourself on current products by studying launch documents and familiarize yourself with the GST product assortment.
  • Process an order from its inception to delivery.
  • Attend any training both inside and outside the branch if necessary.
  • Learn GST processes and procedures including all computer programs including but not limited to Navigator & Selection Sheet Manager and any future programs necessary to build growth.
  • Learn the SSM procedures and system to ensure sustainable sales growth through proper follow up with each customer that is part of the selection.
  • Review and follow all Showroom Sales Procedures listed on the intranet.
  • Learn Digital Lead follow up procedures and execute to completion.
  • Practice Networking outside the showroom to build new trade accounts with Contractors, Builders, Kitchen & Bath, and Interior Designers, and House flipper/investor.
  • Continually build referral business, by regularly following up and building relationships with existing trade contacts (Designers, Builders, Contractors, Kitchen/Bath, etc.).
  • Cold call minimum of 2X per month a new customer, report monthly to branch manager progress of visits and include new accounts and My Emma (email customer contact program) in your manager meetings.
  • Develop authentic personal meaningful relationships with all clients.
  • To compare and learn about the competition, visit other local competing tile showrooms at least once per quarter.
  • Make sure that every guest who leaves our showroom has had an authentic personal meaningful experience.
  • To go above and beyond in providing extreme customer service to every client.
  • To confidently make decisions with little or no guidance to resolve client issues/concerns.
  • Continually educate yourself on our products and our company so you can offer meaningful information to all our guests.

Competitive wage commensurate with experience as well as medical, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, flex spending accounts, 401K, and PTO.

Salary Description

$45,000-$50,000 base + commissions + sales bonus
