We are currently searching for a Design Co-op for our Caledonia, MI location. As a Design Co-op you can expect to learn the skills, processes, equipment and tools of the corrugated industry from our team of Design professionals.
What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:
Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Currently pursuing a 2-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
Work safely and attend all safety training.
It would be great if you also have:
Excellent computer knowledge.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with identified time frames.
Team player.
Quick learner and efficient.
High sense of urgency.
Able to work well under pressure.
During a normal workday you can expect to:
Prepare customer samples.
Rebuild Standards
Design prototypes using ArtiosCAD software.
