Computer Aided Design Technician Job at Addison Group in Minnetonka

CAD Technician

6 month Contract-to-Hire - $35-38/hr W2 - paid weekly with benefits available if needed

Onsite M-F in Minnetonka, MN - 8am-5pm

Required Tech/Experience:

• Experience and knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Design skills and knowledge
• Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and a Team player
• Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam
• Willingness to learn and grow is a must
• Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD
• Experience AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS mapping services
• Land Development Design Experience - highly preferred

Typical Day to Day (Tasks & Responsibilities):

• Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings
• CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
• Collaborate in a team environment
• Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents
• Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings
• Plot and check drawings
