SLSCO, LP is seeking a New York City-based Program Administrator. The Program Administrator will be an experienced professional who will work with team executives, management, and staff to ensure accurate and timely management of administrative functions for specific Design/Build construction assignments. The position has direct responsibility for supporting the team and effectuating all activities required for managing and executing the delivery, organization, and maintenance of all required documentation and information as contractually required. Also required is a daily interface with personnel at all levels to ensure communications among the team and with stakeholders and enable information flow relevant to necessary parties relevant to the D/B assignment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure effective operations for D/B construction assignments.
  • Assist and enable the processing, organization, logging, and management of contracts, subcontracts, insurance documents, and other items contractually required as directed by management.
  • Maintain and update file management systems.
  • Assist finance and accounting team in the gathering of information for invoicing, document compilation, and other materials required for A/P and A/R functions.
  • Assist executives and management in scheduling, meetings, information gathering, and other administrative duties as necessary.
  • Prepare reports and other relevant documentation as required.
  • Maintain and manage the data and document control process and system.
  • Perform administrative duties as required to enable executives and managers to efficiently communicate and receive/provide information relevant to design, construction, legal, financial, and other necessary aspects of assignments.
  • Work with team members to ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are performed and completed on time, efficiently, and in strict confidence.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to think strategically and streamline tasks in an efficient manner.
  • High degree of accuracy in work and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and database management systems such as SharePoint.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.

Physical Demands:

  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 40 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
  • Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).
