Team D3 is seeking a Design Technology Specialist, who is passionate about working with the latest engineering & design technologies in the AEC industry and has a desire to help design firms work more efficiently and effectively. Our ideal candidate must be an AEC design professional who is ready to put their expertise to work by leveraging cutting edge CIM (Civil Information Modeling) software (such as the AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Recap etc.).
POSITION SUMMARY
The Design Technology Specialist - Civil will leverage their knowledge and real-world experience by implementing and delivering AEC solutions and workflows, consulting, demonstrating, training and supporting the latest CAD and CIM (Civil Information Model) technologies.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessment of customer's skills, processes, and workflows
- Development and execution of corporate CIM templates and standards
- Design and delivery of training content in classrooms, on-site or via webcasts
- Working with sales team to evaluate customer needs
- Project mentoring for adoption and implementation of new processes and technology
- Providing technical support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of recent civil design experience in the field, CIM Technician, CIM Manager type positions in the Civil Design field
- 2+ years of recent CIM or 3D Modeling, detailing experience utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Infraworks software solutions; others a plus as well.
- Degreed program related to AEC or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Client facing skills -- including a dynamic personality and an ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- You must be willing to grow, be coachable, and open to being challenged in a constructive spirit of growth & success
- Upon request ability to provide related work portfolio of recent project experience
LOCATION:
- D3 will provide the required computer systems and software
- Report to a D3 office if there is one located within 50 miles of your home address
