Digital Print Design Specialist Job at POS Professional Office Services in Waite

We are currently seeking candidates for a Digital Print Design Specialist position at our Palmer Printing Division in Waite Park, MN.

Job Duties (including but not limited to):

• Preflight, manipulate, edit and adjust customer provided electronic files to prepare them for output to proofing devices, printing plates, digital presses, and offset presses.
• Variable data production setup as well as some digital press operation.
• Utilizes Prinergy workflow for ripping (refining) and trapping of files in preparation for conventional presses, and for editing of refined files, as appropriate.
• Uses Acrobat and Enfocus PitStop to edit PDFs for soft proofing and output to the digital and offset presses.
• Other duties as assigned.

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

• High degree of competence using Mac hardware and desktop design software, primarily Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of print production processes
• High degree of quality and accuracy consciousness
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Works well in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform precise detail work on proofs for customers
• 2-3 years experience preferred

General hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Starting Pay Range $19-$22/hour commensurate with experience with two performance reviews/potential increases during 1st year!
