HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Senior Manager, User Experience Design. User Experience (UX) is a strategic focus and advantage for HealthPartners. The UX team champions our users, taking complex health care decisions and interactions and providing solutions that are simple, accessible, and enjoyable to use. The Senior Manager of User Experience Design sets the vision for our User Experience practice and matures critical practices, platforms, and tools to enable the consistent, efficient, and effective delivery of experiences that delight our users. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in UX Design, Information Architecture, Web Design, Interactive Design or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of experience with Human Centered Design, interaction design, user interface design and user research 3+ years of experience leading a team of UX Design professionals Solid foundation in user interface best practices, including design for search engine optimization and accessibility. Deep knowledge of interaction and information design patterns and best practices. Knowledge of current web and mobile technology standards and limitations (HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery). Experience with UX tools including Adobe products, Visio, InVision, Sketch, Indigo, OmniGraffle, UX Pin, Usertesting.com, Optimal Workshop Experience defining appropriate methodology, creating test plans, and executing user research Previous experience supervising a UX team Experience working within Agile process, understanding of Lean UX Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Health care or Health Insurance Hours/Location: M-F; Days May work in a hybrid capacity but will need to be onsite as necessary for departmental/team meetings and/or collaborative cross functional work events. Accountabilities: Lead a team to design and develop experiences that create value for our users, business and brand across digital channels and products. Responsible for supervision of staff, including having the authority to hire, transfer, lay off, promote, discipline and discharge, train, reward and review performance of employees. Ensures compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Evaluate our User Experience practice through a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Mature practices for User Research and Human Centered Design, User Experience Design, and User Interaction design for digital products. Evolve critical design platforms such as Pattern Lab and our Digital Design System and ensure adherence. Assess and recommend tools that improve quality, consistency and efficiency. Set priorities for the team and support the team in their work, develop their skills and strengths. Maintain our fun, inspiring culture. Mature the role of User Experience in agile product development (web and mobile) including user research, journey mapping, persona development, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, user interaction design, testing and validation. Work closely with senior leaders to drive innovation across the organization based on Human Centered Design best practices.
