About the RoleAs our Marketing Design Specialist, you will take the lead on developing and executing our visual brand. From print materials to social media graphics and video content, you’ll be integral to shaping Pawnee’s public image and supporting our programs. This position offers a blend of design work, community engagement, and content creation, requiring creativity, adaptability, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
In addition to your primary design responsibilities, you’ll also assist with setting up and supporting outreach events, where you’ll have the chance to interact directly with the community. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for events on occasion.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Design & Development: Establish and maintain a cohesive visual identity for Pawnee’s marketing materials across digital, print, and video formats.
- Print & Digital Media Creation: Design engaging content for newsletters, program brochures, annual reports, yard signs, posters, and other print and digital content.
- Social Media Content: Collaborate with the marketing team to create graphics, templates, and short videos that elevate our social media presence and highlight Pawnee’s work.
- Video Production: Assist with video scriptwriting, conducting interviews, capturing footage, and editing for social media, events, and internal communications.
- Event Support: Attend and help set up community outreach events, such as resource fairs and community Match Days, where you’ll have the opportunity to represent Pawnee’s mission.
- Collaboration & Strategy: Work with the Marketing Manager and other team members to align materials with the organization’s overall goals and marketing strategies.

We’re seeking a creative professional who can bring designs to life and communicate complex ideas in visually engaging ways. In addition to technical skills, ideal candidates will have a passion for mental health advocacy and the flexibility to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills:
- High-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong graphic design and typography skills.
- Experience with videography, including video editing, scriptwriting, and filming.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evening and/or weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Field experience with marketing or graphic design.
- Experience with website design/maintenance or content management systems.
- Experience writing scripts for video.
