Robert Half is partnering with a Global Tech and Online Retail Enterprise in search of a talented Instructional Designer who excels in creating engaging and interactive learning experiences. This role will focus on designing multimedia-rich eLearning and instructor-led content using tools like Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond for animation and video. The ideal candidate will enhance existing training programs, including onboarding and train-the-trainer initiatives, by incorporating video-based content, gamification, and interaction, ensuring that trainers deliver high-quality learning experiences.


Location: Remote

Duration: through end of year w/ potential to extend

Pay Rate: $52-57/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Instructional Design team and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and develop dynamic, multimedia learning content.
  • Design and develop interactive eLearning materials using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond, integrating gamification and video-based learning for enhanced engagement.
  • Review and improve existing training programs, recommending content enhancements that support learner needs and objectives.
  • Create supplemental materials to ensure trainers deliver exceptional onboarding experiences.
  • Edit and incorporate video and animation into training modules using tools like Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Ensure all instructional materials adhere to best practices in Instructional Design, driving learner engagement and retention.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results on time.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond for eLearning development and animation.
  • Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of Instructional Design principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design or eLearning development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience developing corporate onboarding or train-the-trainer programs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with gamification techniques and interactive learning solutions to improve learner outcomes.
