Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Sr. Tool Designer to conceive, design, and prototype tooling hardware in the analog and digital domains.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma
US Citizen
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
10 years of hands-on experience with tool design
Proficient in Auto Desk Inventor/AutoCAD
Knowledge of GD&T in accordance with Y14.5, Y14.43 & 14.41
Experience with tooling hardware and software design
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field or related technical degree or certification
Job Responsibilities:
Study specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data to resolve design problems
Apply algebraic and geometric formulas to develop tool configuration
Draw preliminary sketches and prepare layout/detail drawings using drafting tools/equipment or CAD software
Modify tool designs based on trial or production service data to improve tool life/performance
Responsible for data entry, document revision, and control of generated information
Lead and direct lower-level Tool Designers in tasks, responsibilities, and priorities
Pay: 38-51

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
