Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Control Panel Designer to perform CAD work for electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials.
Job Requirements:
AA degree in engineering and 2 years of job-related experience, or 4 years of job-related experience
Knowledge of programmable controllers, motor/motor controllers, electronic sensors, and instrumentation
Experience reading P&ID drawings and electrical schematics
Familiarity with industrial safety standards (UL 508A, NFPA 70, NFPA 79)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with control system design and implementation
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical 2018 or higher
Proficient in EPLAN Pro Panel 2022 or higher
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical schematics, panel layouts using CAD software
Perform heating/cooling calculations during the panel design phase
Interface with the Controls Department to ensure appropriate designs and layouts
Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
