Job Description
Summary: Seeking a remote Drafter/Designer with experience in Cutrite or Homag IX to join the Engineering department of a custom casework/architectural millwork fabricator company.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years experience with Cutrite or Homag IX
Proficiency in Wood CadCam / Homag iX CAD software
Ability to analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts
Knowledgeable in determining machine speeds and feed rates
Experience in computing angular and linear dimensions, radii, curvatures, and outlining sequence of operations required to machine part
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a library of products and materials for optimization
Generate e-files of cut bills for the appropriate machining center
Prepare geometric layout using computer-assisted drafting software
Write instruction sheets and cut lists to guide setup and operation of machine
Write program of machine instructions to direct numerical control database
Ensure accuracy by comparing computer printout with original program sheet
Revise program to eliminate instruction errors or omissions.
Pay: 45-55

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
