Description:

Design & detail compunds and transfers for progressive & transfer dies; design & detail gages, weld jigs & fixtures as well as count machine fixtures and specialized machinery; calculate blanks, draws & reductions on draw dies: calculate forms for developing blanks & strip layout for progressive dies; utilize CAD/VISI to create drawings/design in 2D /3D; support Continuous Improvement projects.

Requirements:

Must have HS diploma/GED, vocational or tech school training in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology is preferred. Must have full understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC). CAD skills required in addition to proficiency with MicroSoft Office products.
