Position Overview

AccuLynx is seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of work experience and a background in designing responsive web and desktop applications and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. As a product designer, you will work closely with a lead product designer and be a part of a team of designers and developers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

In this role, you will actively participate in design sprints, contributing to defining product requirements and translating them into innovative, user-centered designs. You’ll be responsible for delivering multiple creative options and then refining solutions to create user interface designs that enhance the user experience of our software, all while managing multiple projects concurrently.

A Product Designer at AccuLynx is a strong communicator who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. You’ll work with the lead product designer and product managers to turn business goals and user needs into user flows, wireframes, and interfaces. Your designs will balance functionality, aesthetics, and usability to improve the customer experience and deliver real business value.

 

What You Will Do

  • Create digital product solutions for AccuLynx's desktop applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  • Solve interaction design challenges by applying innovative design thinking and user-centered approaches.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to deeply understand customer needs in real-world contexts and translate them into practical design solutions.
  • Translate direction into detailed prototypes, wireframes, and visual compositions to communicate your design ideas effectively.
  • Champion creative ideas by clearly communicating them verbally and through compelling design artifacts.
  • Participate in design workshops to explore multiple design concepts and solutions for a given set of requirements.
  • Leverage composition, typography, color theory, and responsive web design expertise to ensure best user interface design practices.

Your Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in design, UX, UI or visual design for software or eCommerce businesses, with a strong emphasis on responsive web design and mobile applications.
  • A formal degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field, as well as equivalent work experience, will be considered.
  • Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within an agile development environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A portfolio that highlights product, design, interaction, and visual design capabilities.
  • A desire to learn and a strong understanding of user interface design principles.
