Job Title: CAD Designer

Job Description

The Associate Systems Designer will support engineers with drawing layouts by utilizing computer-aided drafting software. This role will also be responsible for creating new and modified components and the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Hard Skills

+ CAD Design experience

+ Mechanical systems experience

Responsibilities

Prepare design sketches and specifications on major features of new models and mechanisms. Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, BMs and other necessary drawings for completion of projects.

Develop manufacturing build sequence during design and select required tooling and equipment.

Apply ingenuity to produce effective, efficient solutions to product and tooling designs.

Make mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or structural analysis calculations necessary for designs.

Collaborate in plant layout and workstation design with Manufacturing.
