LA Managed Services is looking for an exceptional Framework Designer. This is a 12-month contract. This role will be embedded at one of our largest clients. The Content Design team conceptualizes, crafts and builds the content experiences for some of our client’s most visible global products! Your ideas and vision can impact the way people consume media products, what they look and feel like, and how they’re used by millions of people across the globe.The Frameworks team within the Content Design team creates guides about design standards and technical details about artwork templates. We are looking for a Frameworks Designer who is excited about creating designer-friendly, easy to understand documentation. You will be working with creative leads, UI/UX teams and engineering to create design instructions for the TV Content creative teams, production design teams, and operations teams.What You’ll Do:You will be contributing to the creation of common design components for the Content team. These components include design templates based on UI design specs, Engineering implementation, and design guidelines. This will be done in an iterative process in close partnership with many teams including other creative teams, UI/UX designers, and engineering groups. The guideline and templates may require combinations of static and motion diagrams, animations, and explanatory videos. Once guidelines are completed, it is essential to clearly present the guidelines in training sessions. Guidelines and standards will require updating as product specifications and standards change.Additional responsibilities include: Contribute to the creation and documentation of design standards for TV and other Apple servicesCreate sample artwork in Photoshop, Sketch, and After EffectsCreate presentation templates in Keynote, Sketch, and internally developed appsCreate partner guidelines in Keynote and QuipCommunicate design requirements for design tools with technical and engineering teams.Creation of instructional videosMaintain library of documentationDesign onboarding materials for vendors and external partnersDesign internal communication emails regarding documentation or template updatesParticipate in discussions to continually improve studio documentation standardsProvide the Content team with end-user supportWhat You’ll Bring:Portfolio demonstrating design work5+ years of experience in production design and graphic designExpert Knowledge of Photoshop, IllustratorProficiency in After Effects or Premier, Sketch, and KeynoteAll resumes must be accompanied by portfolio and/or website linkBachelors Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experienceThe Perks:We want to make sure you’re taken care of while we build the future of entertainment together.LA Managed Services is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to our team alongside competitive compensation.Work is remote (candidates located in Pacific timezone preferred)The compensation range for this position in the selected city is $50-$60 hourly. Ability to accurately discern and differentiate between a wide range of colors. A keen eye for detail and the capability to interpret color variations correctly are essential.Utilization of technology:Proficiency with various computer software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and project management platforms (e.g., Wrike), is indispensable.
