We are committed to developing new, innovative planned communities that aspire to preserve the beauty of the land while creating progressive, new living styles.JOB DUTIES:Travel to jobsites for client meetings within SC and NC.Selecting and ordering all required selections within the budget for the home. This will include approved interior and exterior materials.Collaborate with design team to ensure all selections are compiled into design documents for homeowner approval.Request quotes and pricing on design elements.Order samples from vendors and subcontractors.Create and process any necessary purchase orders or change orders within construction management software.Manage all design data and documents through construction management software.Maintain the aesthetic and function of the Design Center, by ensuring all samples are properly labeled, displayed, and organized.Provide clerical and administrative support to Residential Designers.Assist in handling communication with clients through telephone, emails, and construction management softwareAdditional responsibilities may include working with budgets, scheduling, working with the construction team as needed.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: Associates degree or higher in a related field2 to 4 years of on-the-job experience using InDesign and/or AutoCAD software (Residential construction experience is preferred)Ability to read architectural plans and make redlined corrections/changesStrong electronic file management skillsMust be able to work in a team setting to meet project deadlinesMust be detail minded, enjoy computer work, and can jump into the job with minimal trainingSketchup experience helpful (3D)Adobe Photoshop helpfulTHE CLIFFS BENEFITS: A knowledgeable and passionate management team that leads by exampleEmployee appreciation parties and team building eventsPremier trainingExcellent compensation including 15 vacation days and 9 paid holidaysOur best benefits package including health, telehealth, vision, dental, short term/long term disability, pet insurance 401(k) with employer contribution*Employee Wellness Monetary IncentivesPaid maternity and paternity leaveA work/life balance!
