You'll find competitive salaries and benefits with every full-time position, because our team believes in rewarding a job well done.Job DescriptionAs a Graphic Designer specializing in packaging, you will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, design, and execution of packaging materials for our diverse range of products. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong emphasis on packaging design. You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Project Management, Industrial Design, and Engineering teams to create visually stunning and effective packaging solutions that align with our brand identity and our clients.Responsibilities:Develop creative concepts and design solutions for a variety of products, ranging from beauty packaging to petcare to apparelContribute as a graphic designer by executing brand deliverables such as logomarks/types, color palettes, patterns, and mood boards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines, ensuring that all designs meet quality standards and project deadlinesConduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to inform design strategies and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiationSolid understanding of design principles and best practices for print, product, and digital media, with the ability to adapt style and tone to suit different mediumsCreate mock-ups and prototypes to visualize designs and present concepts to internal stakeholders for review and feedbackPrepare print-ready artwork files and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate production and implementation of artworkMaintain brand consistency across all packaging materials and collateral, adhering to brand guidelines and specificationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field3-5 years of professional experience in graphic designStrong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of packaging design projects, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Exceptional visual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of production processes and techniques, including file preparation for productionExcellent team player and independent workerA background in sustainability and eco-friendly packaging design practicesBonus: Experience in animation, 3D rendering and/or interaction designAdditional InformationThis is a full-time position in our beautiful offices in Santa Monica, CA. We offer a great package including PTO, benefits, 401K, and holidays. Compensation $ 90,000 plus depending on experience.
