This position is 100% remote and is not required to come into the office.
Overview
The LegalZoom in-house brand and creative team produces live-action and animated videos, engaging digital and social content, compelling copy, world-class visual and web design, multichannel ad campaigns and much more.
We’re looking for a digital-first Production Designer with impeccable design fundamentals, a strong portfolio of design projects, and keen attention to detail. Our ideal Production Designer will not only help us take on a large volume of work, they’ll leverage the automation and design system capabilities of tools like Figma to help us create smart, scalable templates. You will use your design skills and devotion to craft to contribute to our brand and marketing efforts.
You will:
- Identify, propose, and execute opportunities to streamline design automation and efficiencies including scaling asset production in Figma.
- Ensure all assets adhere to brand guidelines.
- Resize ad assets across a high volume of aspect ratios.
- Ensure layouts adhere to safe spaces, channel best practices, and are built to spec.
- Design emails based on existing components and occasionally visually design when templates aren’t available.
- Source images that best represent the brand and are most relevant for the content and environment across web and emails.
- Export assets, adhere to file naming conventions, upload to our DAM, ensuring assets are organized and maintained for clarity.
- Work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Clearly communicate the rationale/POV for design decisions.
- Actively communicate and share updates in our project management tool, ClickUp.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality control.
- Exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with visual designers and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure final assets are ready for traffic.
You have:
- B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design.
- Portfolio link on your resume that includes at least several of the following types of creative work:
- Performance marketing/display ads.
- Email marketing (banners and composed emails).
- Social posts.
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($84,400 - $150,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
